Popular puff pastry to return to Domino’s

March 2019

You asked – we delivered. Domino’s will reinstate its popular puff pastry to its national menu today (Monday 11 June), following demand from customers on social media.

Domino’s New Zealand General Manager Scott Bush said the Company launched an online puff petition to test demand for the product.

“We knew there are some passionate puff pastry lovers out there, but after seeing the results of our online petition, we knew it was time to bring it back,” Mr Bush said.

“We’re excited that customers love puff pastry as much as we do and can’t wait to get this delicious, flaky crust back into the hands of customers.

“At Domino’s, we pride ourselves on our ‘people-powered pizza’ mantra and listen to what our customers want. We really strive to take their feedback on board when it comes to changes to our menu and want to deliver the flavours customers are asking for.”

Puff crust can be added to any Value, Traditional or Gourmet range pizza* for an additional $2 for a limited time only or enjoy a Supreme pizza on puff pastry for just $7.99, pick up.

The return of puff pastry to the menu coincides with another cool change to Domino’s menu – the release of a new Caramel thickshake.

“Customers have been loving our Classic Choc Malt and Traditional Malted Vanilla thickshakes so we have decided to expand the range with a brand-new Caramel flavour,” Mr Bush said.

“Our thickshakes are made with real New Zealand milk, then handcrafted into the most awesome thickshakes ever.”

Caramel thickshakes are available instore now for $4.99 each, pick up and for an extra $1, customers can get their thickshake loaded with cream and a delicious sauce swirl.
